Hi, I’m Ebenhaezer Smal – though many people know me as HAEZER. I’ve spent over a decade making noise (the good kind) as an electronic music producer, touring the world, and performing on stages from Europe to Australia. My music has landed in places like Need for Speed, on BBC Radio, and earned me a Cannes Silver Lion for the music video “Minted.”

But long before the touring life, I was behind an editing desk at Priest Post Production in Cape Town, cutting together stories frame by frame. Film and television have always been part of my creative DNA. After seven wild years on the road, I felt the pull back to my roots and that’s how HAEZERSTUDIOS was born.

Here I get to bring together everything I love: music, editing, and sound design. Whether it’s crafting the perfect cut for a commercial, scoring a film or designing sound that pulls people into a story, I believe great work lives at the intersection of sight and sound.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with brands like Leica, Hyundai, Vans, Gaggenau, Opel, and Telekom. My work has picked up four SAFTAs and a Tribeca Audience Award along the way.
